This morning I left the house in the pitch black and saw yet another glorious sun rise as I cycled along the back roads. Times that this I feel very privileged indeed to be living where I do!
A blog about my love for cycling, the realities of fitting it in around a busy family life and the region in which we now live.

My Commute
When I lived in london I cycled everywhere. Couldn't stand public transport! After moving to Scotland I saw no reason to stop, I currently commute roughly 10 miles each way to work and back as often as I can. It's completely different. There are 4 junctions, no traffic lights and this morning I saw 5 cars. It's a really good workout too! Pretty tough when it's cold, dark and wet. And with this being SW Scotland that's pretty much any month with a R in it...
